Our client is a leading Industrial Manufacturing company with a very strong reputation across the region.
We are looking for an experienced VP Finance to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
To provide effective financial leadership for the Group, ensuring high standards of accuracy in all aspects of financial budgeting, accounting and reporting in support of management decision-making, to ensure compliance with financial, tax and regulatory reporting requirements and to work closely with business leaders to maximize efficiency in use of capital and manage cash flows across the Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To lead the development of the group’s financial planning and reporting, both by supplying appropriate financial analysis and information and through the development of appropriate financial/budgetary control disciplines
• To ensure that rigorous and efficient systems, processes and procedures are developed and applied for the authorization, recording and reporting of all financial transactions across the Group, in order to maintain control and minimize the risk of fraud or dishonesty
• To produce consolidated group financial reporting in respect of all the group’s branch (KSA, UAE and Jordan) financial performance and transactions
• To ensure that regulatory and legal financial requirements are met, including reporting in accordance with appropriate accountancy standards
• To liaise with the Group’s External Auditors to ensure that a thorough annual appraisal of the Group’s financial reporting and control processes is undertaken and that any recommended improvements are rapidly implemented
• To manage ongoing internal auditing of the Group’s financial processes to minimize risk of loss or inefficiency and ensuring that improvements are implemented where appropriate
• To manage relationships with investors, financial providers, regulatory/ government bodies and the media to ensure that the group maintains access to financial markets/capital necessary to fund its future growth
• To ensure that both cash management and capital management disciplines are established and rigorously deployed across the group
• To manage, motivate, train, select and recruit staff within the Finance function
• To select, develop, direct & motivate Group Finance Department staff to build their capabilities and enable them to focus on delivering a highly professional service
• To implement best practice with regard to the leadership & performance management of the Group Finance function
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Should be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
• Salary as a guide is up to 70k SAR per month/$224k USD per annum package salary
