Key Accountabilities:
- Lead internal stakeholders in the delivery of all requirements to support the growth and development of all integrated market insights and brand planning and innovative business development.
- Ensure strong collaborative relationship within the groups and externally with key vendors and client partners to consistently elevate the quality of thinking and ideas applied to the clients business.
- Play a leading role in the development of the clients strategy through providing inputs for developing new programs or modifying current programs for the client in liaison with the Vice President Strategy & Corporate Affairs.
- Define short term and long terms strategies for each Section within the Strategic Planning function in line with the clients strategy
- Assist in the development of the annual business plan, emphasizing the role of effective strategic monitoring and evaluation, effective relationships and sufficient planning & development activities in the achievement of the business plan
- Assist in the development of the annual budget for the client through the provision of sufficient information on the clients’ strategy and operational model.
- Liaise with the Directorate of Financial Affairs / Control for ensuring sufficient center management from a financial perspective and support group reporting and consolidation of accounts related to the centers
- Develop relevant policies and procedures pertaining to the Strategic Planning & Department Determine the financial feasibility of implementing special projects, establishing new centers and developing new programs in line with the clients strategy.
- Act as the primary liaison point between the Strategy Department and the Vice President - Strategy & Corporate Affairs to ensure sufficient support to the realization of the clients’ strategy Maintain a working knowledge of similar regional and international ICT institutions to identify leading practices that can be adopted by the client to promote its strategy, goals and objectives
- Act as a representative of the client to the International ICT community, in maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy implementation and highlight areas of concern to the Vice President - Strategy & Corporate
Manage the creation of new centers (develop, incubate, operate and transfer) through providing oversight on the clients operation models.
- Coordinate with the Directors within the Corporate Portfolio Management Division to ensure the continuous performance monitoring of the programs, and compile performance reports for submission to the Vice President - Strategy & Corporate Affairs
- Assist the external Evaluation Committees in reviewing and determining the impact of programs and use the resultant information to determine whether programs should be renewed or cancelled Coordinate with the excellence centers internally to ensure the client is able to leverage resources between it and the parent company.
- Manage the work of consultants with regard to special projects and ensure the achievement of project goals and milestones.
