• JOB PURPOSE: To manage the development and implementation of Bakhashab IT strategy and plan, ensure provision of high quality IT support and operations, ensure effective information security management, and implementation of state-of-art IT architecture and systems in order to provide superior customer experience and enhance operational excellence. • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Budget Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of the IT budget, and monitor the financial performance of the IT activities versus set budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines. IT Architecture and Systems: Ensure effective collaboration with all business units of Bakhashab to understand their business needs, and advise on IT architecture / systems and related solutions to meet their short-term and long-term needs. Oversee the alignment of the IT architecture with the systems, applications and infrastructure and ensure integration thereof, so as to enable the smooth running and efficiency of operations. Ensure that the IT system has the capacity and reliability to support Bakhashab operations. Oversee and guide the continuous improvement of the organisation’s IT architecture, system and infrastructure in alignment with business needs and state-of-art technologies. Information Security: Oversee the information security management function to ensure effective development and implementation of information security policies and systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations and ensure reliability and integrity of data. Ensure timely risk assessment and management for all IT processes to ascertain services continuity and disaster recovery. IT Operations Management and Support: Review the effectiveness of the IT operations and support, in order to identify areas for improvements that meet the needs of business units and enhance operations. Oversee IT operations so that it meets the service levels agreed with users and conforms to relevant technical and security standards. Ensure the effective development, implementation and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure provision of high quality IT services in line with defined quality standards. Technical Advice: Provide advice to the management team on IT initiatives / projects to support the achievement of the organisation’s objectives. Provide the management team with the necessary information technology and communication systems to allow it to compete in the market in the most effective way, while ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of Bakhashab’s IT systems. IT Awareness: Participate in IT events, conferences and forums in order to remain abreast of the latest technological advancements and upgrade the IT systems across Bakhashab within the IT budget. • COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (ILLUSTRATIVE NOT EXHAUSTIVE): Internal: Regular interactions with Corporate Services to provide up-date on progress against strategic objectives, and report any significant matters. Regular interactions with the business units to identify solutions to meet business needs, and resolve highly critical issues. Regular interactions with direct team members to manage and oversee performance of the function, provide guidance and manage the day-to-day operations. External: IT Consultants, Government Entities (as applicable), IT Service Providers.
