The Role
This posting is for an Analyzer Specialist for Middle East. The successful candidate would have demonstrated experience as an Analyzer Specialist in Oil & Gas industries and is required to concentrate on continuous improvements in the operations of our businesses in Middle East, Saudi Arabia.
The responsibilities as follows:
- Be able to perform work including but not limited to : calibration, troubleshooting, and repairing/replacing analytical instruments
- Maintain analytical instruments & system including but not limited to : control valves, electronic and pneumatic instruments, gas chromatographs, CEMS, mass spectrometers, composition analyzers, physical IR & UV analyzers, property analyzer, gas detectors and others as needed
- Conduct required regulatory environmental compliance testing and documentation
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance activities on instrumentation in operating units during daily operations, equipment turnaround, and projects
- Effective resource utilization to minimize the cost of equipment repairs while maintaining or increasing the overall quality of the repair
- Ability to diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults in an analytical system
- Ability to read schematic drawings and product manuals to repair equipment
- Ability to perform troubleshooting independently.
- Visibly and effectively interface with all positions within the organization.
- Must effectively communicate deviations to operating plans and other work plans (maintenance, projects etc) and must have the ability to generate corrective actions for any customer concerns
- Able to communicate effectively on issues across the organization
- Demonstrate a high initiative and be intrinsically motivated
- Assert the appropriate sense of urgency needed for all situations
- Conduct training/assessment on process analyzer and sampling systems for the Technicians
- Proactive & possess a presence of mind to understand when other resources are needed.
- Possess the ability to coordinate with different work disciplines to meet project targets and objectives
- Demonstrate the ability to strive for continuous improvement.
