Job Title
Deputy Civil Works Interface Manager
Purpose of the Job
To define and manage the interfaces between the Civil Works and the E&M (Electromechanical) subsystems provided by Alstom (Signalling, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, PSD, etc.). Ensure that the CW interface requirements are taken into account by CW designers, and agree with the product lines and the CW designers about the Combined Service Drawings.
During the construction, ensure that the construction performed by the CW contractor is as per the drawing agreed between CW designers and Alstom, leading to the handover of the respective zones to the product lines for their installation / construction.

Key Network & Links
Internal (50%) : Turnkey Project Manager (PM), Project Engineering Manager (PrEM), participating product lines Project Engineering Managers (PrEM) and Installation Manager (PrIM)
External (50%) : Customer, Consortium Partners, Subcontractors, Consultants
There are strong interfaces with the other product lines within the Transport Sector and with the units within the Operations Systems entity.

- Approval of interfaces documents / Combined Service Drawing
- Limited number of interface modifications
- Correct operation of Interfaces between CW and E&M subsystems
- Meet QCD commitments for the relevant Work Packages
Responsibilities
- Identify the interface issues relevant to CW, taking into account the global Alstom Transport interests.
- Organise the consistency of the interfaces relevant to CW.
- Manage the detailed interfaces definition relevant to CW.
- Establish the Combined Service Drawings relevant to CW interfaces for Alstom scope of work (installation consistency between all sub systems).
- Prepare the integration phase.
- Establish and validate the receipt forms of civil works.
- Organise the necessary surveys in order to enable the handover of the Civil Works to the Alstom product Lines
- Establish, fill-in and sign the receipt forms for each of these works, and establish the required punch list for outstanding works from Civil works.
- Follow-up the modifications of civil works and reservations and their impact for the Alstom product lines
