JOB SCOPE:
This position plays a key role in ensuring that the college's Education Technology services are maintained for the benefit of students, faculty, college administration with alignment to Pearson’s business objectives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Help teachers and staff integrate and implement various technology-based learning tools for the instruction of students.
This position includes the provision of technical and functional support in the maintenance of an enterprise level student information system, learning management system and tools to support the development and delivery of learning applications.
High degree of competency in vocational/higher education learning technology architecture
Have an understanding of Instructional Design and Learning Theories
Responsible for providing support to faculty and facilitates relevant training sessions and workshops.
Collaborate with wider technology teams to grow knowledge and understanding of technology products and services across all Pearson Lines of Business
Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks are in compliant with Pearson policies
Manages the CRM, SIS, LMS and Enterprise application systems of the colleges
End-user training and on-boarding on eLearning systems
SIS: Configuration, data load, reporting and term-start release of PowerSchool.
LMS: course creation, enrolment, integrating with classroom technology and setup of LMS
Support on-site installation or configuration of cloud based learning applications and integrated tools including system updates, upgrades, integration of tools, and other software
Provides triage and troubleshooting for education technology applications and raise issues and tickets
