On behalf of a leading Consumer Electronics retailer we are seeking General Manager - Saudi Arabia to be based in Riyadh.
Reporting to the Vice President, Retail. You will be responsible to direct activities in KSA in order to meet P&L objectives, achieve customer service standards and deliver store rationalisation/opening programmes, all in line with the overall electronics strategy.
• Strategy, policy & processes Develop and implement strategy, policies and processes for Home Division which align with AI’s strategic plan
• Business planning Develop and direct business plans which ensure P&L and other objectives are achieved
• Marketing Direct marketing activities which support market positioning, brand management and sales
• Sales Direct store operations and sales activities to achieve sales objectives
• Supplier relationships. Direct agency/supplier relationships to ensure that AI’s interests are protected and relationships are optimal
• B2B Develop and extend B2B sales and sales operations to ensure maximum advantage is taken of opportunities.
• Customer service Ensure all sales and service activities are provided in line with the highest standards of customer service
• Supply chain Ensure SCM delivers a supply chain service which meets Home Division’s requirements
• Site management Direct store closure, opening and refurbishment to ensure high quality, impactful store design at optimal cost
• Generic management accountabilities
• People management. Manage, develop and motivate people to achieve high performance and support the achievement of business objectives
• Reporting Manage accounting, planning and reporting processes in line with AI financial policies and procedures
• Compliance. Ensure business unit activities are conducted in line with AI policies and procedures
