Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Management, Statistical Analysis, Marketing Research, and Data Mining. Has 0-3 yrs of work experience. Active on social media domains, and has a good command of English language. Must be able to understand and formulate research problems, data analysis requirements, and project-specific analysis needs. Develop analysis for a wide-variety of opinion data gathered from social media sources as well as news and polls. Ability to organise and prioritise own work with minimal supervision and to work within teams. Self-motivated and interested in developing new ideas and concepts.
BIG DATA RESEARCH ASSISTANT - 3 Vacancies.
Master or Bachelor Degree in computer science or related discipline including a substantial natural language processing and/or text mining programming component. 3-5 years work experience. Must have knowledge and interest in Arabic Natural Language Processing, Arabic Language Text Mining and Opinion mining concepts. Knowledge of statistical data analysis and data mining techniques and their practical applications and interest of opinion mining techniques. Familiarity with one or more data analysis packages (e.g. SAS, Matlab, SPSS, R) and database programming. Conduct research, data analysis requirements, and project-specific analysis needs. Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - 3 Vacancies.
Master or Bachelor Degree in computer science or related discipline. Has 5-10 years of work experience in system installation and management of Windows, Linux systems, and databases. “Experience in installation and management of Cloud-based system management” is a plus. Able to understand and formulate computational infrastructure requirements and project-specific analysis needs. Plan and carry computer system administration and management in accordance with the project aims and timeframes, in collaboration with members of the group and the project. Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
