Our client, an international healthcare group is currently seeking to recruit a Manager - IT Infrastructure Change Management. You will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager - Demand and Release Management Define, enhance, document, implement, measure and promote the policies, guidelines, standards and processes to effectively and efficiently implement and maintain Infrastructure Change Management. Provide guidance and expertise for the execution, management, and adherence to the Infrastructure Change Management process at the Company. ROLE PURPOSE Process Management • Develop and maintain Infrastructure Change Management processes, procedures and documentation • Develop and maintain change models for efficient and effective processing of change requests • Ensure standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes at the Company Change Management • Work closely with the change initiators to ensure change records are complete Facilitate Infrastructure change management meetings, technical assessment reviews, post implementation reviews, and manage all issues, conflicts, prioritize and escalate to management as required • Receive, log, and allocate priorities (with the change initiators), to all Requests For Change (RFCs) • Monitors and supervises the execution and maintenance of the Infrastructure change management process • Highlight and ensure all associated risks, urgency, and impacts are identified prior to making the change • Work with different teams and Project Managers to manage planned projects and changes as it related to Infrastructure change management • Attend meetings and participate in various discussions and as required for Change Management planning purposes • Classify change requests based on urgency, category, and models • Assess change impact and estimate resources for all RFCs at the Company • Coordinate the change development, testing, and implementation in the Production environment • Provide reports on change statistics (daily, weekly, and as required), this is to include ad-hoc reports and queries as required • Monitor and drive the efficiency and effectiveness of Infrastructure Change Management and make recommendations for quality and service improvement • Build and develop a Change Management culture at the Company and provide leadership through continuous improvement and integration of best practice and standards • Build a Infrastructure Change Management team and develop skills and competencies for the Change Management practice at the Company through appropriate training • Conduct periodic reviews as required of the entire Infrastructure Change Management Process and suggest changes as necessary • Mange the communication of Infrastructure changes, effectively communicate to management and Company's community of users the impact of the planned and scheduled changes or events • Use communication tools (email, Intranet, etc..) to maintain two ways communication with Company’s users community and management regarding the awareness and change impact to ensure that all issues (internal and external) are addressed • Oversee, manage, facilitate, and coordinate changes in the IT Infrastructure environment • Develop and maintain the integrity of the Infrastructure Change Management systems and records, ensure all Change records are updated and closed with complete Change details • Provide Change Management support 24 x 7 Release Management • Planning and controlling the movement of Releases to test and live environments • Ensure the test users sign off on all changes and business approval for any system outage required to release the change. • Schedule and secure infrastructure change releases, and ensure they take place with minimum impact on IT services.
