The company is originally European and was established over 40 years ago, and now has a worldwide presence. They are a retail company with a private label as well, and are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to handle their operations in Jeddah.
Description
A Supply Chain Manager would be expected to:
- Oversee demand planning and replenishment order management- Cross verify stock accuracy and order quantities with stores and suppliers- Manage PO and order review/processing, including Novelty items- Manage deliveries for different brands and handle discrepancies- Execute stock returns based on supplier agreements- Monitor stock ageing and discontinuations regularly to identify possible returns- Initiate and control transfers for stock balancing between stores- Ensure that the item database stays updates- Oversee revision of retail prices and addition of new brands effective from the dates communicated- Monitor stocks at the warehouse and initiate transfers from warehouse to stores- Cross verify documentation to ensure compliance- Be a primary POC for Head Office team for Supply Chain activities
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role would have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a reputed university- 6+ years of experience across the supply chain- Experience in Logistics, Demand and Replenishment Planning is a must- Experience in a retail company is a must- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)- Experience managing a team is a plus- Proficiency with analytical tools (dashboards, Excel reporting, etc)- Experience managing stock levels, ensuring on shelf availability, managing stock returns and supplier delivery performance- Candidate must be based in Jeddah or willing to relocate- Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus
Job Offer
This position offers SAR 16,000 - 20,000 (depending on experience), medical, flights and bonus
