KRA (Key Result Area)
Quality Standards and Procedures
Coordinate with the production unit, sales and marketing and the COO to set/update the standards with respect to quality parameters and metallurgical process questions.
Set internal policies and procedures to conduct quality control checks on products as well as production lines.
Established quality standards and procedures
Manage Quality Control Activities
Set quality control checks schedules, allocate required resources, and coordinate with the production units to ensure alignment on schedules.
Set the annual budget and the strategic plan for the Quality Control department.
Supervises and coordinates trials for cost savings and quality improvements.
Ensure availability of equipment and consumables required for the quality control lab and issue MPRs when required.
Ensures that all necessary communication, instructions and agreements related to the department and from Management reaches everyone in the shop.
Efficient quality control process
Performance Management
Set/update and monitor department level KPIs for the Quality Control department and cascade them to the sections level.
Review customer complaints on product quality and assess implications on existing quality standards and processes.
Timeliness Reporting
Customer Satisfaction Level
Staff and Self Development
Plan quality control staff needs in accordance with Corporate HR guidelines, and working closely with HR Shared Services for transactional support.
Monitor Saudization in the Quality Control department and ensure meeting the target set by top management.
Ensure all quality control staff undergo required specialization and HSE training.
Take ownership of own career and skill development by constantly maintaining and increasing subject matter expertise in both general and required specialization areas, working closely with department heads.
