- Safety and Security Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Safety and Security Manager in the planning, coordination, organization, staff supervision and quality controls for the Security operation in order to effect optimum protection of visitors, Staff, Assets (Tangible and intangible). Safety and Security Supervisor shall drive the security operation to the standards and quality established by the Safety and Security Manager.
- Comply strictly to the Department Codes of Conduct.
- Safeguard all information relating to the warehouse, visitors and Company.
- Environmental care: Reduces waste supplies and materials by re-using, recycling or selling; conserves water and energy at all available opportunities and maintain clean surroundings of all warehouse areas, including the Security Room.
- Project an impeccable professional, confident, efficient and reassuring image to all warehouse visitors, patrons, visitors and colleagues alike.
- Act as a perfect role model to all Security Guards - Lead from the front - carry out all duties to a high standard as a constant demonstration of example
- Will periodically monitor CCTV and alert the Safety and Security Manager of any irregularities or suspicious incidences that are detected.
- Ensure that all defined operational standards are strictly maintained.
- Ensure that all established policies; procedures; codes of conduct etc are strictly complied with by all staff.
- Inform SSM of significant staff performance achievements for appropriate staff recognition.
- Monitor the running and reliability of all Security systems and equipment. Ensure frequent maintenance and testing.
- Liaise with appointed maintenance contractors to rectify any faults etc
