Corporate Strategy
As a member of the Executive Team, participate and contributes to the development and refining of the vision and strategy for SSC, and contribute to the overall process of management and corporate decision making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long term profitability and returns to its shareholders.

Government Affairs Management
Direct and manage the Government Affairs activities, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to ensure that SSC fulfill all licensing requirements to legally engage in its activities in Saudi Arabia
Maintenance of all legal requirements for operation in good order
Timeliness and efficiency in managing government related paperwork
Advice and Studies
§ Study and conduct legal research on matters requested by Corporate Core and the departments, preparation legal advice regarding new regulations and legislation to ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Regulations and relevant legislation.
§ Review contracts and agreements concluded with external parties. Negotiate legal documentation to ensure the company’s position is clear and well protected.
§ Provide support and advice to the tenders and corporate deals process as requested and represent SSC on legal matters with the concerned Ministries.
Opinions delivered are sound and well researched.

Legal advice and support are recognized and valued.
Litigation
· Develop policies and procedures for handling claims and support of investigations with provision of legal advice with respect to disputes with employees, contractors and other related parties
· Coordinate with internal and external legal experts to conduct effective litigations / defenses in the manner that best protects the interests of the company and the shareholders
Effective handling of claims and investigations.
Staff and Self Development
Plan operations staff needs (competency development, recruiting needs, Career development and Saudization strategy), in accordance with Corporate HR guidelines, and working closely with HR Shared Services for transactional support
Monitor attrition rate in the operations department and ensure that key issues collected through the grievance and employee survey process are addressed and elevated to the CEO and the board
Take ownership of own career and skill development by constantly maintaining and increasing subject matter expertise in both general and required specialization areas, working closely with department heads.
