Responsibilities
• Monitors and records financial transaction according to the company policies and procedures.
• Provides guidance to accounting staff as and when needed
• Coordinate with team to complete assigned accounting task within deadlines
• Responds to accounting inquiries from management in timely manners
• Assists in budget preparation and controlling operational expenses
• Assists in auditing (internal or external) by providing required information and preparing required reports and documentation
• Performs month end accounting activities such as accruals, reconciliation, checking and updating journal vouchers, system sub modules and general ledger module
• Checking monthly payroll
• Ensuring trial balance accuracy and assisting in periodic financial reporting in timely manner
• Reviews and recommends changes (if needed) to existing accounting procedures
