Directs and controls all operation and financial planning and provides reports to the Managing Director and the Board of Director.
Exercises direct control over supervisors and
managers in relation to cost and productivity. .
Provides leadership and guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors and ensures that GOT management and staff matters are handled effectively.
Recommend matters relating to discipline and hiring of staff in the operations function, and makes recommendations in relation to salaries.
Ensures that annual budgets and subsequent schedules for financial reporting are prepared in accordance with GOT needs as set by the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.
Designs, implements and maintains an up-to-date management accounting and reporting system as well as budgetary control and expenditure procedures.
Provides monthly reports to management on
financial and operating results including interpretations and recommendations, as well as other information on business conditions, which contribute to GOT operating circumstances.
Provides guidance and support to the Marketing & Sales team and approve/supervise the execution of the Marketing Plan/Programme as developed by the Marketing & Sales team.
Maintains contacts with key customers
on a permanent basis
