Job Overview
Laureate Vocational Saudi Arabia (LVSA) is part of the Laureate International Universities, the world’s leading higher education provider. Laureate’s more than 80 universities educate over 1,000,000 students in 29 countries. LVSA has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2009 with over 492 employees and currently operates 10 vocational campuses in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Al-Kharj (South of Riyadh), Rabigh (north of Jeddah), Al-Madinah, Wadi Al-Dawaser and Najran. These vocational colleges offer two and three-year technical training programs to Saudi students between the ages of 18-23 that will lead to vocational qualifications at a range of levels in a variety of subjects. The new colleges will eventually grow to a capacity of 12,000 students.
Job Description
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support the Marketing & Communications team and liaise with LVSA colleges to communicate the organization’s marketing message. The position will assist in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and be a liaison within and outside the LVSA community.
Essential Job Functions
Systematic review of the company’s marketing strategy, development of marketing campaigns, content, and artwork to both complement and support our existing communication efforts.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns within agreed timelines.
Coordinate marketing and student enrollment & engagement plans with our representatives across LVSA colleges and with external stakeholders
Lead on the implementation of social media and digital efforts, as well lead content and engagement tactics
Work with colleges’ counterparts in order to ensure the social media activities are in line with the corporate and individual colleges’ communication strategy.
Work with college counterparts in order to ensure that social media input from students, prospective students and the public is appropriately responded.
Support social media channel owners within the organization to implement 'best practices' through effective use of social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Assist in the development of brochures, flyers and other marketing material.
Design artworks in line with the LVSA branding guidelines.
Manage, develop and evaluate the reach and impact of corporate and college level social media channels.
Supporting the marketing team in day to day marketing initiatives.
