Job Description:
Manage the credit application process and approval through the appropriate application review.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Receive and evaluate credit loans applications and credit review with attention to credit risks and profitability and recommend the same, as appropriate for further approval.
• Ensure financial and non-financial stability of the customer profile.
• Ensure credit applications are in line with credit policies, procedures and SAMA regulation, and that all required information is available in credit file including the collateral details.
• Ensure proper follow up is done for collecting missing documents or information.
• Ensure the submittal of the credit packages/reports and related loans documents to the appropriate credit committee for approval.
• Ensure the proper monitoring of the customers’ exposures and the compliance with the approval.
• Ensure the Credit Committees’ decisions are implemented.
• Monitor accounts exposure and the proper usage of facilities and related risks.
• Review reports on problematic issues (default of payment, overstepping, warnings).
• Review the proposals regarding the re-classification of problem loans and ensure their submittal to the appropriate credit committee for approval.
• Manage non-performing loans and ensure proper execution of Committee/ Government Body decision.
• Manage customers exposures and negotiate restructuring action plans to solve possible problematic issues or to reduce related exposure and increase profitability.
• Issue recommendation regarding restructuring proposals and submit them to the appropriate credit committee for approval.
• Ensure the credit risk controls are capable of an early detection and effective resolution of problems related to credit risk management.
• On regular basis, conduct personal or joint visits to clients to evaluate their performance.
• Suggest loan classification in collaboration with the responsible Relationship Manager
• Approve the check list of required documentation per loan type. Review and approve reschedule notes.
• Ensure proper follow up on loans renewal.
• Review unit’s reports and highlight any credit risks to management.
• Review credit risks associated with all new products and activities and recommend the same for approval to the risk and credit head.
• Ensure the proper custody and follow-up on collaterals and loans documentation
