PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The incumbent is responsible to the Director Learning & Development, for the development and implementation of L&D Plans. He will also be responsible for the proper implementation of L&D policy and resource co-ordination, ensuring that this process is client facing and adds value to the Business through alignment with the company Business Plan.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Job holder will:
• Develop, communicate and “sell”, to Management and the workforce, Learning and development solutions which contributes to the achievement of the department and company Strategies.
• Establish and maintain a high level of credibility for the L&D function as a client facing service that adds value to L&D operations.
• Develop, implement and monitor, through an appropriate metric, a robust process that enables the Company to discharge its Training/Learning and Development contractual obligations to Customers.
• Develop, implement and monitor, through an appropriate metric, a robust process that captures and evaluates both business and personal learning and development needs deriving from the Performance Management System.
• Deliver appropriate solutions which add value to both the business and the individual.
• Develop, implement and monitor, through an appropriate metric, a robust process that enables a seamless integration of management initiatives into the business.
• Develop, implement and monitor, through an appropriate metric, a robust process that enables the efficient and effective use of all department resources, processes and applications, manpower etc.
• Maintain accurate and current training records and development activities and provide Director, L&D with regular status reports.
• Organise, develop and deliver workshops (if needed) to meet the needs of staff at all levels.
