Mathematics & Physics Teachers
Our Client
Our client is an Electric Vocational School in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2012, the school currently operates three locations in Saudi Arabia. One
additional training center will be opened throughout the coming 12 months.
In a 2-year training program, trainees study power plant maintenance, power plant operations, network maintenance and shielding methods. The organisation is being operated as a public private
partnership. Having completed the 2-year training, the school graduates will be joining Saudi Arabic electric companies for the operation and maintenance of the national power system. The polytechnic school currently employs around 80 training instructors and staff.
The Position
In these attractive positions, the Mathematics & Physics Teachers will train the Saudi-Arabic students at one of the existing training centers in the fields of General Mathematics & General Physics.
All of the trainees are either high school or technical college graduates and study for 30 contact periods per week. Class sizes average between 15-17 trainees. The curriculum is based on a 14-week trimester system or a 10-week quarter system with breaks between each training cycle (depending on the location).
Throughout the first year, trainees within the program study English, Health and Safety, Physics and Mathematics and other Science - related studies. Students in the second year of the program will study in one field of specialization, i.e. Power Plant Maintenance (Electrical & Mechanical), Transmission / Distribution or Power Plant Operation.
