Purpose:
Responsible for applying principles of accounting & prepare financial reports by compiling information, participating in preparing financial statements, & utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures; the key results’ areas of this position are as follows
Key Results’ Areas:
Participate in compiling financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Participate in maintaining, & coordinating the implementation of accounting operations & accounting control procedures.
Participate in preparing required analysis for budgets and expenditures for local, foreign, and private funding, contracts, and grants.
Participate in monitoring accounting & related system reports for accuracy & completeness & resolve accounting discrepancies.
Participate in preparing & reviewing budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, & other accounting documents.
Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
Proceed with the input process and handling of financial data & reports for the company's automated financial systems.
Maintain professional & technical knowledge related to accounting construction industry best practices.
