Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1. Develops short and long term financial and operational plans for the restaurant in support of corporate objectives.
2. Participates in the development of the annual budget.
3. Monitors the performance of the restaurant through verification and analysis of financial and results on guest satisfaction measures. Initiates corrective action as required.
4. Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating any complaints. Initiates corrective action as required.
5. Recommends local store marketing programs to build sales and implements programs directed by District Manager.
6. Maintains an environment that ensures associate motivation, development and training.
7. Maintains applicable preventive maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the restaurant.
8. Ensures the security of the restaurant is adequate to provide protection of associates, guests and assets.
9. Ensures that two-way communication exists with all associates.
10. Manages in compliance with established Company practices and policies.
11. Manages in compliance with all local and country legislation.
12. Ensures that the restaurant is adequately and competently staffed to met guest needs.
13. Maintains an environment that ensures associate and guest safety.
 
Other Responsibilities
 
Administers the overall activities, performance, and operations of the restaurant and the employees.

Directly supervises and develops all department managers to ensure proper food quality and guest satisfaction.

Provides direction, coaching and mentorship to all supporting managers and management training personnel.

Addresses, investigates, resolves, and follows-up on all comments and complaints regarding food or beverage quality, service, or atmosphere issues.

Maintains and monitors the safety and security of the restaurant in conjunction with Food basics policy.

Monitors and controls all costs and budgets, controls waste and shrinkage and ensures cost of sales within budgetary constraints.

Approves all petty cash receipts and spending in the restaurants.

Arranges for repair of restaurant equipment by contracting appropriate service personnel. Performs monthly facility walkthroughs and monitors all preventive maintenance contracts.

Communicates business trends, current promotions, safety issues and menu changes to all direct reports and ensures proper communication to all Management/ employees.

Is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring all employees and maintaining proper training, development and retention systems for the entire staff.

Inspects all food/beverage inventory weekly in dry and walk-in storage and ensures product is ordered according to anticipated daily business demands.

Performs performance assessments and evaluations for all department managers.
