The Branch Accountant will be responsible for all Finance and Accounts related matters including cash handling functions in a Branch / Group of Branches
Showroom / workshop /parts outlet is referred to as Branch for this purpose.
The main functions include -
Supervise and manage cashiers, control over all cashier and cash related areas.
Ensure availability of cashier, and handle cash if cashier is not available.
Training of new cashiers
Ensure timely and accurate accounting
Coordination with operations team for their requirements.
Banking and BRS.
Payments - processing based on approvals, payments on time.
Reporting to Head Office as required.
Dealing with Audit department
Coordination and compliance on Insurance related matters
Compliance with company rules and regulations
Meeting customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
