- Review annual objectives for each store within assigned group.
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership.
- Plans and supports talent management and succession planning within his function.
- Motivates employees and monitors employee satisfaction within his function.
- Ensure optimum structure for his function and that positions are properly staffed and maintain high retention rates.
- Regularly review Total group operational key performance indicators on sales, stock loss, payroll, retail expenses...etc
- Drive the implementation of agreed operating model within group and champion compliance.
- Communicate and lead team in the implementation of companywide projects and initiatives.
- Use knowledge of local markets, competition and customers to influence strategic and tactical thinking.
- Communicate key people policies and ensure agreed actions are taken.
- Develop business cases to support capital expenditure decisions within assigned group.
- Identify and execute actions that deliver a reduction in store operating costs.
