- Conducts routine internal audit assignments independently, and acts as a team member on more complex audit assignments
- Plans, organizes, and schedules own workload so that internal audit activities are completed accurately and on time
- Collects, examines, analyses, and verifies information about the ACI's systems and processes by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials, and by interviewing organizational members where required
- Assists in the development of the internal audit plan for internal audit assignments
- Identifies, analyses, and documents aspects of ACI’s systems and processes that do not comply with regulations, laws, and standards or do not comply with the organization’s policies and operating procedures
- Develops internal audit recommendations to address identified audit issues
- Demonstrates value-added ideas and contribution to auditees and to internal audit teams
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications etc.
