Quality control manager are in charge of making sure products meet acceptable quality standards Acording ASME Boilers & Pressure Vessels Code. Dealing with Boilers , Vessels and API Tanks. Make certain that production and manufacturing lines perform efficiently, coordinate employee efforts, and facilitate communications between management and production departments. They also devise ways of improving the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality products.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Execute and maintained the QC manual.
2) Design, develop and implement quality control activities and quality control objectives
3) Develop and implement quality control plan (ITP).to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
4) Inspect incoming/receiving material to insure that all quality requirements specified in the purchase order or purchase request are met.
5) Investigate and follow up complaints regarding quality and NCR.
6) Ensure calibration of equipment and instrumentations.
7) Ensure day to day production quality requirements are implemented.
8) Review and report NDT examination result to GM
9) Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
10) Ensure that the product or service meets client's required criteria and code requirement.
11) Supervise a team of quality control inspectors.
12) Also include all duties and responsibilities stated or wherever it is mentioned in the quality manual and standard operating procedure.
13)Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement program.
