Our client is seeking an experienced and autonomous Accountant, to support their newly established Saudi Arabia arm of the Enterprise Shared Services function. This role will report into the Director of Accounting Operations and will work closely with the Manager of General Accounting in the Accounting Operations organization.

Description
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in monthly close activities- Prepare journal entries- Analyze monthly trial balances- Prepare account reconciliations for cash accounts and other balance sheet accounts- Support audit requests- Participate in non-recurring projects- Prepare and process weekly cash disbursements journals- Prepare payroll file upload- Record and clear cash receipts
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 10 years of general accounting experience or Master's degree in Accounting with 8 years general accounting experience- Professional Accounting qualifications preferred (CA/ACCA/CPA)- Ideally looking for someone from the Big 4- Advanced knowledge of and at least 4 years of experience in general accounting application of US GAAP principals and concepts- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point- SAP/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
