Purpose of the Job (Overall Accountability)
The job holder is responsible to initiate, prepare, formulate, update, and recommend Communication Plans which present the Group Image internally, locally, or internationally as per the desired level and expectations.
The job holder is responsible to monitor, scan, and upgrade media and communication utilities and methods/channels; through introducing desired practises and selecting proper mechanisms, instruments or processes to achieve delivering the message to the targeted recipients.
Ensure the provision of professional communication and public relation services to improve the Group’s communication and image in the local, regional and international markets.
Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Maintain, ensure, and monitor integrity, consistency and high quality within internal communication (management-employees or Employees-employees) that support on-spot actions by management.
Act as the owner in carrying out internal or external surveys; Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS), Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS), Company Image Survey (CIS)…etc.
Initiate, formulate, and propose Public Relations' Practises for the whole group concerned members, and any policies or guidelines that support this purpose to the direct manager to gain final approvals.
Provide technical and or approval for all group publication as desired by management, or per the goals, quantities, costs…etc to ensure using proper media and proper using of resources.
Responsible for managing and reporting on the corporate social responsibility activities of the Group.
Represent the group in social activities, sponsorships, charitable or any events as prescribed communication vision or as per management intuition.
Manage, guide, supervise and submit professional communication, social media and media advertising to improve the Group’s communication and brand image in the local, regional and international markets.
Ensure that all promotion, publicity, advertising activity is in support of the Group objectives and within agreed expenditure levels and promotes a good image for the Group.
Develop and maintain a communication function and staff in business units, with skilled employees who know what is expected of them and are capable of meeting departmental and individual objectives and performance.
Manage the e-Business activities including the Group’s social media pages, and supervise the Web' team to ensure meet proposed expectation and performance.
Initiate, follow up, compare Trade Show and Seminar events, involving the preparation of displays, equipment and communication media: design, edit, proofread, print, package media and equipment.
Collaborate and manage annual communication budgets by the departments to ensure effective cost management aligned to business units' volumes and nature.
Responsible for implementing communication messages for the key managers, executives, analysts…etc and analyse their feedback in return to contribute to the communication plan.
Development and execution of brand strategies and plans and the Group’s brand and portfolio strategies.
Develop the group image, reputation and information base required to effectively positioning of our brands to reach targeted and profitable customers.
Extend and create innovative advertising and media mix guidelines through establishing, implementing and managing a customer driven communication objectives and strategies.
Source potential communication opportunities.
Create, implement and oversee internal social activities “Group wide activities” that effectively describe and promote the organization and its culture.
