Implementation of policies and procedures relating to the operations of Material procurement activities to meet the requirements and needs of the sectors and departments concerned and the study and evaluation and selection of suppliers as well as to monitor their performance and the quality of materials and services.
1. Work together with the organizational units involved in the sector to assess and understand the needs and requirements of the procurement.
2. Supervise on the purchase orders received from organizational units under the planned budgets and include them in the procurement plan.
3. Provide the necessary support to the Procurement Manager in the preparation of studies and surveys of the market in order to access to better prices and quality required.
4. Review of the purchase orders issued and make sure to match with the approved specifications and the required quantities.
5. Communicate with suppliers in the event of receipt of a damaged, incomplete or not in conformity with the specifications and following-up materials returned procedures.
6. Collecting all necessary data to help the establishment of a database of prices of materials that are consumed frequently and their most important suppliers.
7. The nomination and selection of new suppliers and the preparation of their studies and evaluate the price and quality of materials provided by them.
8. Establish a lasting strategic relationships with suppliers to get a preferential treatment to all the criteria (price, delivery terms, etc....).
9. Carry out any assignment or other tasks related to the job under the guidance of the Procurement specialist
