Jobs Research R&D Lab Technician - Saudi Nationals only in Saudi Arabia
SUMMARY: The position requirestheability of performing experiments of process and product development in a R&D laboratory, operating processing equipments and Analytical instrumentation, and performing special testing as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Learn and practice safetyand ISO Qualityprocedures
-Review and learn safety & Quality procedures
-Take training on various safety procedures and needed protocol
-Become habitual with PPE usage and all safety practices
-Learn ISO-9001 re-certification process & coordinate to maintain lab ISO status.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation.
* Operate polymer/additives processing equipments like extruder
* Perform material characterization testing, e.g. DSC, HPLC, XRF
* Prepare MSDS for chemical blends.
* Assist in the development and validation of laboratory methods
* Write laboratory procedures as needed
* Ship lab-prepared samples to customers
* Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals, supplies, consumables.
* Maintain and upgrade laboratory infrastructure
