1) To help implement the internal communications strategy to provide effective communication of relevant corporate information to employee and external stakeholders
2) To help build a culture where two-way internal communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of FAST Consortium and its staff, and where communication is seen as the business of every employee member
3) To populate, source, and write FAST's monthly newsletter - sent to more than 1900 employees
4) To continually evaluate the success of internal communications, working with a broad range of stakeholders
5) Draft key messages for target audiences
6) To research, plan and implement a range of high profile events and conferences, including monthly town halls, milestone events, community releation and others
7) Working and negotiating with external suppliers and venues to provide the best value for money
8) To provide a communications plan for each event detailing target audience and plans for reaching them
9) Write and edit copy (ranging from website, news reports and features to interviews and letter text) for various publications and materials (both print and online), including staff magazine, volunteer and supporter magazine e-newsletter
