The Director of Maintenance reports to the Director of Flight Operations and is responsible for
the supervision of all maintenance personnel and all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
2. Ensure the Arabasco aircraft fleet is maintained according to GACA and Manufacturer’s
recommendations.
3. Approves work scopes for major inspections.
4. Coordinates technical responsibilities.
5. Coordinate with Aircraft Manufactuer Maintenance Coordinators and Technical Operations.
6. Perform as the focal point for maintenance quality.
7. Assure proper training and orientation for team members in company aircraft, and
related technology fields.
8. Prepares and monitors the budget for the department.
9. Understands the roles of all other members of Flight Operations Center department, and how
they interact with each other
10. Directs and monitors the interactions process of aircraft owners by phone, fax, or in person to carry out required Maintenance. Updating of all data into the company data based system FOS. Ensuring that owned aircraft are not utilized.
11. Completing Maintenance in a timely maner to limit down time.
12. Watch for future flights or special requests to insure aircraft is available.
