• Answers all incoming group and event inquiries / opportunities
• Qualifies each business opportunity
• Determines availability of space and rates according to yield management principles and knowledge of business pace
• Presents benefits of the hotel to the client
• Enlarges clients needs to further improvement of revenue yields
• Conducts comprehensive and customized site inspections with the banquet servicing team
• Develops and sends out concise and accurate contracts
• Makes sure he/she properly communicates with the Banquet Team
• Ensures deposits are received
• Meets measurable targets and revenue goals
• Has excellent product knowledge of function space, audio-visual equipment, capacities, guest room inventory, room rates and menus
• Accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibility
• Abides by hotel’s grooming standards to project the luxury image of the brand
• Uses problem solving methodology for decision making / follow-up.
Suggests positive alternatives and ensures that business booked is within Resort parameters
