National Paints KSA is currently looking for a Storekeeper to be based in Al-Qassim.
The primary function of the role is to supervise and oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of materials in store and ensure operational and workplace safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reconciliation of received material with purchase orders and delivery orders and report to Store In Charge
• Monthly or weekly report related to receiving and inspecting all incoming raw materials.
• Prepare Goods Received Note and Goods Transfer Note and process it towards approval from Store In-Charge.
• Prepare material damages, obsolete and discrepancies reports and forward to Store In charge for review.
• Prepare daily report on receiving and issuance of material at the end of each day and send to the Store In charge for acknowledgment of material turnover.
• Prepare and maintains stock register, where all inventory movement information detail mentioned.
• Maintain list of material and quantity issued to sister concerned companies and at the end of month reconcile it with Store In-Charge and forward to Accounts department.
• Preparing and filling complaints on unsatisfactory shipments/supplies and forward to Store In charge for further action.
• Prepare Raw/Packing/General items Issue Note and Supervise issuance of raw material to Production Department and ensure that requested materials are issued on time.
• Ensure that received raw materials are appropriately measure and check for quality standard.
• Ensure that materials are marked using identification tags, stamps, or other labelling equipment.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and material location based on raw material turnover and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Coordinate with Store In-Charge and Purchase department for arrangement of information of upcoming material for arrangement of scheduling of offloading and space availability in raw material section.
• Ensure that outside and inside area of the raw material section are clean and in tidy condition.
• Oversee stock count, prepare stock reconciliation in consultation with Store In-Charge and report any discrepancies to Store In-Charge and Store Manager.
• Ensure that materials are issued only against a properly authorized and approved requisition and issuance is properly recorded in the system.
• Issue Goods Received Note and forward it to Store In-Charge for validation and after validation it would be handover to the supplier.
• Coordinate with QC Section regarding Quality testing of received materials.
• Coordinate with Production Department for future requirement of raw materials.
• Inform to Store In-Charge on timely basis for the unavailability of raw materials.
• Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and other department employees.
• Ensure that all goods are kept in store in an organized and planned way.
• Supervise all rejected and defective goods from customer and ensure that Store In-Charge is informed of the numbers of rejected/ defective items for storing at a separate place.
