SUMMARY
Due to continued growth and expansion, we now have an excellent opportunity available for a top calibre QC Engineer to join our Middle East business as we expand further in 2016. You will be based from our brand new Saudi Service Centre and work mainly within the local market supporting our new site as it is established. This role will offer extensive exposure to a wide variety of our Power & Energy product ranges including Pumps, Mixers, Valves and Heat Exchangers.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
As QC Engineer within our SPX Flow business you will work as an integral part of the team, reporting to our General Manager in Saudi and working closely with the team at all levels. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our business units meet the requirements of our customers and will be required to drive and implement ISO standards, such as ISO:9001, ISO:14001 and ISO:18001. Experience of a full ISO implementation would be extremely beneficial for this role.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Preparing QMS documentation to ensure customer approval critical to Service Centre development
• Reporting for our customers to allow us to secure new business
• Updating registers and quality manuals as well as revising documents and calibration of our systems
• Hands on work on the shop floor with technicians, inspection and measurement using Micrometers and Verniers
• Working on Route Cause Analysis / Non-Conformance Reporting and any potential warranty claims
• Reading blueprints with technical understanding to ensure QA/QC compliance
• Communicating internally within SPX FLOW to ensure the highest quality standards
• Managing the audit procedures in line with business growth and customer requirements
