Job Description
- Under the General Accounting Manager, prepare USGAAP Financial Statements, research USGAAP and IFRS for complex accounting issues, and establish and validate SOX controls.
- Providing support and assistance to the general accountant to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data recorded in the general ledger (SAP) for all Group entities under USGAAP.
- Prepare USGAAP Financial Statements.
- Research US GAAP & IFRS accounting subjects.
- Review & validation of reconciliation of Financial Statements (IFRS Vs US GAAP).
- Review & validation of equity/VIE accounting for JVs under US GAAP.
- Establish and validate SOX controls.
- Development & documentation of procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Oversight of US GAAP SAP ledger.
- Review & validation of quarterly financial statements reported to Shareholders.
- Attestations (Quarterly/Year-end) under US GAAP.
- Establish and provide data required for 10-Q and 10-K.
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports under US GAAP.
- Coaching responsibilities to develop US GAAP permanent resources.
- Liaison point with External Auditors for US GAAP reporting/auditing requirements.
