Role Purpose:
Fleet manager is responsible for selecting the right vehicles and maintaining them in good operating condition so that the company can meet its distribution objectives efficiently and cost-effectively. he should have considerable operational experience in logistics and vehicle maintenance, and use fleet management software to track and monitor the various aspects of fleet and driver operations.
Duties Performed:
Paperwork Management
* Receive invoicing and other key documentation from warehouse managers and supervisors
* Manage pre-invoicing invoice documents and manage e-mail approvals from Warehouse Management
* Develop spreadsheets to recap invoicing, track PM's, maintenance spends.
* Review vendor invoices for errors and then send to warehouse managers.
* Analyze maintenance record to provide input of unit replacements
Administrative Assistance for Fleet Leadership
* Track OSHA certification compliance for equipment being operated.
* Create PM and break-fix tracking reports
* Calculate hours / trucks per quarter
