• Prepare Annual Insurance Plan and Budget based on projects and properties.
Obtain Quotations from insurance companies for newly acquired coverage.
Analyze the offers of different insurance provider and preparation of a comparative analysis for management selection
• Co-ordinates with all divisions, the implementation of procedures for acquiring coverage for the Company assets and liabilities.
• Track expiry dates of insurance policies to ensure all policies are timely renewed & re-negotiate renewals
• Ensures the policy renewals, payment of premiums and pursuit of claims are in accordance with Company policies.
• Co-ordinates all the clients blanked insurance policies and to ensures that the various Company assets (plants, machinery, stock, new projects, liability, etc.)
• Carry adequate insurance coverage in accordance with the company’s policy standard.
• Verification and updating the list of Motor Fleet and Heavy Equipment in co-ordination with concerned Divisions for renewal of Blanked insurance policy
• Co-ordinates with Risk Management Department to ensure that the insurance clauses are revised and updated for inclusion in all types of contracts and agreements.
• Supervises more than 25,000 Employees & their dependents Health & Medical Insurance(Class VIP/A /B/C)
• Following and maintaining record of up loadings with CCHI (The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance & NAJM system on time - Follow up insurance claims and get them closed to reduce down time.
• Studies insurance claims and incident reports, collects the necessary information, advises the concerned Divisions on required documents. Health, Death & Accidental Claims, Vehicles & Total Loss, Property Damages Claims
• Involved with overall Insurance Finance & Accounting, Reconciliations, Debit/Credit Notes, Statistics and loss ratio’s Insurance Payables (Insurance PREPAIDs and Amortization), Coordinate with the general accounting section any insurance related issues for proper handling in the book of accounts.
