Purpose of the Job
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate all activities and resources necessary for marketing to achieve objectives of the overall business plan.
• Identify marketing opportunities by distinguishing consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business and establishing targeted market share.
Principal Responsibilities/Accountabilities Strategic
• Monitors and analyzes market dynamics frequently to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops marketing and promotion strategies in line with the goals of the company.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and contributes to the development of sales strategies.
• Achieve goals by planning, monitoring and appraising in addition to communicating and reviewing job expectation and job contribution.
• Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed.
• Identifies target markets and develops strategies to communicate with them.
Operational
• Accomplishes marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs, and developing related action plans.
• Manages the marketing budget and administers delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget.
• Oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
• Survey the market to identify customer requirements and consumption trends.
• Manages all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
