On behalf of a leading 240 bed Specialist Hospital in the Eastern province pf Saudi Arabia we have an opening for an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
You will provide patients with orthopedic care, including diagnosis, pre-operative care, operative procedures in the field of orthopedics and post-operative treatment.
Provide preventive care of patients according to approved procedures as part of an integrated program of curative and preventive services.
Provide comprehensive and diligent Orthopaedic care to all assigned patients, including pre- and post-operative care and such orthopedic procedures as are within incumbent's competence.
Performs professional duties at clinics at which out-patient orthopedic care is to be rendered to patients as assigned.
Provide consultation services to physicians and other surgeons and specialists, on in-or out-patient cases assigned to incumbent
Assumes after hours responsibility for the care of assigned Orthopaedic cases and makes daily rounds for those hospitalized.
Refers to consults with other consultants on those cases which are beyond his skill or experience.
Adheres to the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the medical department and assures that work performed is in keeping with the established standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation hospitals.
Maintains complete and accurate records of all assigned cases. Consult with Chief Surgeon when considering a patient for transfer to other hospitals. Participates in and contributes to in-service activities such as lectures, conferences and rounds.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
