- Implements specific performance standards in key areas such as sales targets, and evaluates performance against these standards.
- Manage sales forecasts for El Khayyat in coordination with top management; proactively develops and improves services, and discusses strategic and sensitive issues with the management.
- Sets sales targets and defines the strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and lowest rate of defection by building El Khayyat’s reputation and relationships.
- To control cash and working capital effectively within limits set by El Khayyat.
- Closely examine all management accounts, daily and weekly operating controls, key performance indicators and composite figures in order to assess performance.
- Drive profitability through increasing sales & controlling costs whilst maintaining company operating standards.
- Forecast cash and fiscal requirements during periods of peak sales to avoid a shortage of funds and unauthorized borrowing.
- Conduct pertinent research to develop sales in tune with the current market scenario.
- Maintains rapport with key accounts through periodic visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities in addition to measuring customer satisfaction and resolving any identified issues.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Research employees training and development requirements and prepare a program within a prudent budget to achieve objectives.
- Ensure that overheads, costs and expenses are minimized by carefully controlling and utilizing all resources effectively.
