The Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the HSE Head will be accountable for the following:
- Develop organization wide HSE strategy to ensure the workplace safety, health and environmental sustainability goals are achieved both in the short term and long term
- Develop the HSE Policies, Standards and Strategy for the Business that fully complies to local and international safety regulations and standards such ISO and OHSAS
- Ensure the company complies to all environmental regulations and the license from the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) is valid to ensure business continuity
- Develop proper set of HSE KPI’s, lead and lag measures to drive the accountability across the organization
- Design and Implement HSE Audit and Risk
- Assessment system to cover all work operations to help prevent accidents and injuries
- Act as internal consultant for all HSE related matters in Operations to ensure any project, process and workplace practice complies to HSE policy
- Influence key stake holders to drive the HSE Culture Change program in face of potential resistancMaintain positive and proactive relationship with internal customers and external agencies for the benefit of driving successful HSE initiative
- Conduct HSE training sessions for all staff and develop HSE staff to train others
