POSITION SUMMARY
- Managing technical processes and teams along with using his technical skills in order to ensure smooth running of the factory and production lines.
- To ensure maintenance, servicing and new assemblies conform to standards, safety, budget, deadlines and quality.
- Adheres to all laws, regulations, guidelines and current technical standards. Coordinates with those responsible for the respective departments and other plant areas.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensures functionality of areas under his supervision and uninterrupted production schedules with highest practicable efficiencies, as well as optimization of technical conditions and safety performances of facilities and machines.
- Develop and execute the annual maintenance Plan and keep records as technical logs for machine history; repair and overall maintenance.
- Guarantee an adequate spare parts inventory & supply.
- Responsible for adherence to maintenance and inspection plans; must ensure teams follow correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements.
- Controls downtime by applying preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance to ensure all assets maintained and available for production.
- Train and lead maintenance workers and technicians into efficient troubleshooting and timely repairs.
- Understands project requirements. Project scheduling and resource management, technical involvement, planning and budgeting on new projects.
- Budgeting responsibility regarding maintenance department.
- Keeping up to date on the latest technical developments and ensuring that innovations are introduced accordingly following the approved budget.
- Implementing and monitoring housekeeping within maintenance department.
- Liaise with Operation Manager and Production Manager for the selection- and maintenance of the equipment.
- Follow the company’s manuals, procedures and regulations.
- Working together with Department Managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.
- Management of personnel. To recruit, supervise, asses, motivate and discipline the workforce to ensure the continuity of staffing within the budgetary requirements of the maintenance department. To oversee the induction and training of all employees to ensure that they meet the high standards required within the maintenance department.
- To create a safe working environment and assure that all personnel comply with health and safety rules.
- Ensure that the plant meets all machinery legislative requirements.
