JOB PURPOSE
By working in cooperation with category supervisors and buyers, supports the category management & development and implementation of sourcing strategies, through research and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITES
Supports Supervisor in the development and implementation of sourcing strategy
Collects & analyzes data for demand management and conduct impact assessment analysis
Researches and analyzes internal and external data to support the sourcing process
Conducts spend and customer requirement analysis
Performs calculation on industry & supplier cost models and TCO models
Performs supplier analysis including supplier financials and capabilities (products / services, quality levels)
Provides analytical support during the supplier screening and selection process
Assists in the development of RFI to collect supplier information
Analyzes RFI responses and provide input for supplier screening
Assists in the development of RFP and develop consolidated overview of all suppliers proposals, score supplier responses
Prepares fact based negotiation package
Supports category Supervisors in implementing contract & ensure contract compliance
Supports category Supervisors in benefits measurement.
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the P&C Department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
