As a Budget Controller, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring all necessary controls to ensure that the company’s approved budget is in alliance with the actual.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft the annual budget for the company and ensure that individual profit and cost centers have all necessary information for effective budget management.
- Monitor expenditure against budgets and advise managers of any significant variances.
- Produce all necessary statements and reports to enable the accurate measurement of cash flow, profit and loss, stock and debtors etc.
- Act as the main budget contact for departments, assisting with the setting and monitoring of those budgets and providing all other advice and assistance required.
- Assist with the effective and timely preparation of annual financial accounts, management accounts.
- Ensures adequate control of all financial activities related to general ledger, accounting, receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation.
- Prepare regular and accurate financial reports on the company’s profit and cost centers to enable managers to make effective financial and operational decision
