• To teach, lead and monitor the delivery of the course and to ensure that course documentation is completed
• To review the curriculum content and delivery ensuring constant improvement in effectiveness and efficiency
• To ensure all project briefs and schemes of work are comprehensive and prepared in accordance with the college specification and course quality standards
• To manage and co-ordinate the assessment process for the course
• To ensure student records are kept up to date and meet with college standards
• To build links with appropriate employers and facilitate work experience and visits appropriate to the curriculum as required
• To consult with library staff to ensure that appropriate research and learning materials are available to meet curriculum needs
• To inform workshop staff of the practical workshop requirements for each brief, to plan projects in consultation with these staff to enable maximum utilisation of resources.
