Primary Objectives:
To provide and be responsible for a comprehensive, high quality, efficient and effective Finance service, including but not limited to budgeting, bookkeeping, orders/invoices, credit control, financial forecasting, and reporting to Board / Management.
• Ensure that all functions of finance department are properly administered and monitored.
• Review financial systems, procedures and internal controls to ensure they comply with applicable standards and laws.
• Co-ordinate, plans, organise, prepare, and evaluate the Company’s annual budget for approval by the Management.
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
• Act as cheque signatory for and authorise expenditure up to limits as agreed by the Management.
• Ensure, delegating as appropriate, that each service location is adequately managed, staffed and resourced.
• Oversee the operations of multi-location branches in and outside Saudi Arabia, if any.
• Work with braches’ Accounts Managers to ensure strict adherence to financial management requirements and reporting.
• Formulating strategies to be used in the long-term financial plans for Company.
• Analyzing the performance of competitors and the marketing trends.
• Ensure the inventory control measures are in place to minimizes stockholding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy.
• Developing good working relationships with professionals such as bankers, auditors or statutory organizations for the benefit of the Company.
• Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, in order to ensure safekeeping.
• Monitoring cash flows and using the same to predict future financial trends.
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate risk and insurance programs of establishments to control risks and losses.
Updating the Company regarding changes in legislation or regulations that may affect the Company’s business operation.
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Supervise the external audit processes, ensuring that the Auditors are supplied with information as required, within the agreed timetable and that staff are available for interim and final audits.
