• Consults the machines vendors for troubleshooting and training.
• Analyzes & investigates the machines downtime & unexpected breakdown & develops action plans.
• Participates in identifying hiring needs; employee selection and training process.
• Leads / coaches his team to achieve the maintenance objectives.
• Maintains inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to support the plant and plant operations.
• Organizes and manages the maintenance teams for day to day activities to ensure increasing machine reliability & improve technical mastery of the mechanical team.
• Plans and executes maintenance daily direction setting meeting, prepare and present reports as necessary.
• Ensures all maintenance teams are adhering to safety& quality standards.
• Ensures maintenance are done timely & with the right quality
• Collects and analyzes daily machines downtime reports and unexpected breakdown of the machines. Develops an action plan to solve the breakdown.
• Develops and maintains all preventive maintenance programs.
• Plans and directs “in house” fabrication of simple spares.
• Supports of all Lean Manufacturing related initiatives.
• Develops & updates the department.
• Participates in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
