JOB PURPOSE:
To oversee the Tenancy Design & Delivery Department (TDD) department team to review, develop, enhance, and approve designs for shop fit-outs in the shopping malls. He will strategies and develops retail design guidelines, and oversees visual merchandising program to ensure that high standards of design and visual display are maintained in the malls. The key function of visual merchandising is to complement the Tenancy Design & Delivery Director (TDDD) to meet the objective of enhancing tenants' returns on investment through improved visual displays. He will be also involved in conceptualization and feasibility studies for asset enhancement initiatives and development projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Job Description): Description
• Trend research on the retail industry across all regions, provide innovative design ideas to value-add to our tenants’ business and keep the organization more competitive-advantageous
• Develop/establish tenancy design guidelines with the regional TDM team to align with the mall branding and positioning and achieve specific character for each mall/region
• Translate trending analysis to solution
• Understand different cultures to advise adjustment to the standards to meet the regional needs
• Contribute research and market trend in quarterly report
• Prepare presentation material and conduct training to internal customers across regions
• Ensure regional TDD’s standards are aligned with TDDD Hq’s
• Develop Tenancy Design Guidelines (TDDG) for new malls
• Review tenant’s design, work closely with them to achieve mutual benefits by adhering optimum tenancy design guidelines, and that their stores are opened on time with mall opening
• Work with the regional managers to resolve site issues to ensure tenant’s unit is ready for their fit-out works
