- Trains and directs the work of a blow molding shift crew.
- Ensures that the crew produces the required amount of empty ware in accordance with current manufacturing procedures and specifications.
- Performs Q-C checks on empty ware.
- Causes all required records and reports to be made and submitted as directed.
- Ensure that all equipment under his control are properly operated.
- Monitors the completion of preventive maintenance and controls the rescheduling of uncompleted items.
- Ensures adequate spare parts are available.
- Writes work order as necessary.
- Instructed his crew with regard to plant safety, work, attendance rules and enforces same.
- Resolves personnel problem within the section or refers them to the section foreman or supervisor as appropriate.
- Maintains the blow molding section in a clean and orderly condition.
- During the second and night shifts, investigates and reports any plant emergency condition to his supervisor or designated.
