Our client is a newly established government entity in Saudi Arabia currently looking for the IT Operations Management Lead who can manage overall IT infrastructure, Technical Support and Service Desk Function. The job role will be directly reporting to the IT Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate IT operations and ensure that the tasks are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise and perform quality assurance for IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the development of IT capacity planning and oversee tasks related to capacity changes.
- Oversee and review processes for maintenance, integrity, security and back up of data maintained in the information systems.
- Support the development of resiliency measures for information and information systems.
- Manage relationships with contractors/vendors related to the maintenance of IT infrastructure, system upgrades and implementation of patches.
- Oversee the implementation of system upgrades to support core and business support applications.
- Manage infrastructure projects through the lifecycle of service delivery and ensure quality standards.
- Ensure effective first line interface with users seeking IT support.
- Monitor incidents and problems and present performance reports on services/processes.
- Ensure the timely identification and resolution of incidents and problems.
